We are working with United Welsh in conjunction with Welsh Government on an exciting new exemplar scheme in Ty Du, Nelson which is currently going through the PAC process. High quality sustainable placemaking and new homes form a new neighbourhood at Ty Du, rooted in the local landscape. The focus and heart at the village green supports a multi-generational community connnected through shared green infrastructure, legibility and distinctiveness in relation to the site's fantastic woodland setting.
Homes at Ty Du are designed with the ability to keep up with change, and with consideration of embodied and operational carbon in mind. Thought has been given to the flexibility of spaces, ensuring families have comfortable spaces to both live and work, especially in a post-covid world. Modern Methods of Construction will be embraced, working with Celtic Offsite, to ensure an efficient construction process, and to minimise the performance gap.
