Staff Promotions within Powell Dobson

Following continued success in a number of major sectors, we are delighted to announce a number of new positions and appointments. Rhodri Davies has been promoted to Associate for Health, Andrew Rose has been promoted to Associate in Major Projects team whilst Sara Ifan has become Associate for Regeneration in the Residential Studio working alongside newly appointed Associate for Residential Alastair Fraser.

Rhodri has considerable healthcare experience having been with the practice for over 17 years, during which time he has been responsible for delivering most of the practices healthcare projects. Most recently he has worked as Senior Architect on the Hafan Y Coed Adult Mental Health Unit and Rookwood Relocation schemes at University Hospital, Llandough.

Andrew Rose first joined Powell Dobson in 1998. He has become one of the practices' most experienced technicians, having delivered a number of major projects in recent years. He has considerable experience in high rise developments having completed a number of large scale residential and commercial towers in London.

Sara Ifan, first joined Powell Dobson in 2011, and has gained experience working in a variety of sectors. In 2016, Sara won Young Achiever of the Year Award at the CEW Awards. She has been a part of the residential team for a number of years and has recently been Project Architect on the award winning Mill regeneration development in Cardiff and Whiteheads in Newport.

As a part of the continued success of the dedicated residential studio within the practice, Alastair Fraser has been appointed as Associate alongside Sara and Director, Bernadette Kinsella. Alastair, a qualified architect, has considerable residential experience having worked in the sector for 14 years in London and most recently Bristol and the South West. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in creating successful, large scale residential communities that will supplement the existing experience within the studio.
