Mumbles Head

The Practice has prepared proposals for the development of Mumbles Pier and Foreshore. The site falls within the Bay Action Plan which outlines the vision for the future of Swansea Bay. Mumbles Headland and foreshore is the only site identified within the Action plan which rests in private ownership.
Designs are currently in their early stages with a number of options being considered, but development plans are ambitious and appropriate for such an iconic landmark site.

Proposals currently being considered include a 150 bedroom spa hotel, residential accommodation, conference/exhibition and family entertainment centre along with improved public realm and improved access arrangements to improved visitor experience and reinforce the sites reputation as an historic visitor destination.
