Project Accounting Investment

As part of our drive for a better collaborative working environment and improved project management at Design Studio level we have embarked upon a phased integration of a series of practice management tools.  Our first phase has been to implement a project based accounting system with integration to our forecasting and resource management.  We sought a modular system that would allow us to grow and incorporate full document management, BIM integration, and HR tools in the near future as part of a second phase.  We also wanted a system that could replace our timesheet, leave and contact database systems which were all in need of an overhaul.  We chose Union Square as they were able to meet our exacting brief and could demonstrate an ongoing investment in product development which we considered important in a long term relationship.  Implementation has been painless and this is in part due to the clear advice, support and training offered but also because the product is user friendly and intuitive.
