Following the completion of a feasibility study in May 2011, Powell Dobson was commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council to prepare a detailed planning application which has been approved this week (23rd Feb 2015) for the Pembroke Learning Campus.
Located on the site of the existing Pembrokeshire Comprehensive School, the new development will provide an integrated facility comprising a secondary school for circa 2,000 pupils, a vocational college and related playing fields, car parking and external facilities. The campus will serve as a "learning hub" for the whole of the south of the County and will include a replacement SEN/autism centre as well as facilities for community engagement and multi-agency working. The planning application was submitted in December 2014 and completion on site is anticipated by Autumn 2017.
