The former Arjo Wiggins Paper Mill site, one of Cardiff’s landmark Brownfield sites, provides a unique opportunity to transform 50 acres of the industrial past into a new, exemplar community in which we live and work. The Mill will provide people with high quality neighbourhoods that have a distinct sense of place; where they feel safe and where they want to live.
The proposal comprises around 750 properties, over half of them affordable, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom detached houses. This pleasant and sustainable environment will include public facilities such as a variety of shops and a Doctors Surgery in a neighbourhood centre forming the heart of the development. There will be access to cycle paths and a large riverside park creating a fantastic environment for a new community on the fringe of the city.
