Plans submitted for a £4.7m redevelopment of Aberafan House in Port Talbot

Plans have recently been submitted for a £4.7m redevelopment of Aberafan House in Port Talbot that would provide 41 apartments.
Our client, Hacer Developments have submitted an application to Neath Port Talbot Council. If approved, the work could begin later this year.
Aberafan House is a prominent building in Port Talbot town centre, and the scheme is designed to bring it back into use through the creation of residential accommodation. The scheme was designed in consultation with the Design Commission for Wales.
It is part of a wider £35m investment programme to build new homes, improving existing properties, provide space for new businesses and create new transport and communication links.
