The main frontage of the site is located on Great Cambridge Road and sits within the London Plan and thus forms part of an Industrial Business Park, which is considered to be a Strategic Employment Location.
The brownfield site was formerly the GE Lighting Headquarters for the UK and Europe. The development will consist of a 130 bed Travelodge, Toyota car showroom, Big Yellow Self Storage unit and a flexible mixture of B1, B2 and B8 employment units. Overall, the project will create in excess of 350,000 sq ft of development.
